About The Moving On Project

The Moving On Project offers private, specialized counseling services to children and young people aged 11-25, addressing a wide range of mental health challenges. These private sessions help fund our vital charitable work, enabling us to continue providing free services for those most in need.

While these services run separately from our core charity services, they play an essential role in sustaining the charity's mission. Your contribution through these sessions helps support our ongoing efforts to provide care for all, regardless of financial situation.

Private Counselling Services

Wiating times to see a conunsellor via the NHS vary considerable depending on the level and type of service the client need, aswell as whats available in a clients area. Private counselling is where our counsellers are paid by the client for their services. This offers a number of benfits

Frequency and timing of attendance is something the client and their private practice counsellor can negotiate to ensure the client is getting the help they need. An advantage of seeing a counsellor in private practice is that should the client wish to return for support in a crisis or when another problem arises after counselling has ended, they will be able to see the counsellor who already knows them.
